Overview
- Off-field Cryo damage
- Healer
- Hydro and Cryo RES shred
Escoffier is a Cryo support who works almost entirely from off the field. A tap of her Elemental Skill sets up her Cooking Mek, which follows your active character and keeps firing Cryo shots, and her Elemental Burst deals Cryo damage and heals the whole party, then keeps healing the active character for a while afterwards. Her ascension passive lowers enemy Hydro and Cryo RES when her Skill or Burst hits, and the shred gets much larger when every party member is Hydro or Cryo.
Gear her like a damage dealer: ATK, crits and a Cryo goblet, because both her Mek damage and her healing scale with ATK. Energy Recharge comes first, though. If the team relies on her Burst for healing, make sure it is ready every rotation before you chase more damage.
Weapons
Best first. Every polearm on this list links to its page.
-
Symphonist of Scents ★★★★★
Her signature polearm. CRIT DMG and an ATK bonus that grows while she is off the field, and her healing also passes a short ATK buff to whoever she heals.
-
Calamity Queller ★★★★★
ATK, Elemental DMG Bonus and a stacking ATK buff that doubles while the wielder is off the field, which is where she spends most of her time.
-
Deathmatch ★★★★
The strongest 4-star for her own damage. The CRIT Rate and ATK bonus suit her well, but you will need Energy Recharge from artifacts.
-
Favonius Lance ★★★★
Energy Recharge and extra particles for the team. Pick this when her Burst, or a teammate's, keeps coming up short.
Artifact sets
-
Golden Troupe 4-piece
Most of her damage is Elemental Skill damage dealt while off the field, which is exactly what this set rewards.
-
Golden Troupe + Blizzard Strayer 2-piece each
Elemental Skill damage plus Cryo damage. A good stopgap while you collect the full Golden Troupe set.
-
Golden Troupe + Gladiator's Finale 2-piece each
Swap the second pair for an ATK bonus if those pieces have better substats.

Teams
-
Skirk Freeze
All four members are Hydro or Cryo, so her RES shred reaches its full strength. Her healing also keeps HP moving for Furina's buff.
-
Ayaka Freeze
Escoffier
Kamisato Ayaka
Furina
Shenhe
Another all Hydro and Cryo line-up. Furina keeps enemies Frozen while Escoffier and Shenhe raise Ayaka's Cryo damage.
-
Neuvillette Freeze
Escoffier
Neuvillette
Furina
Citlali
Another all Hydro and Cryo line-up, so her shred is at full strength on Neuvillette's Hydro. Her heals keep Furina's buff stacking, and Citlali adds a shield and more Cryo to keep enemies Frozen.
Tips
- Her RES shred depends on how many Hydro and Cryo characters you bring. With four, it is far stronger than with three, so plan the team around that if you can.
- Tap her Elemental Skill, then swap out right away. The Cooking Mek follows the active character and keeps attacking on its own.
- If your team does not need her healing, you can skip her Burst on some rotations and lean on the Skill instead.
- Holding the Skill opens the Off-the-Cuff Cookery mode for cooking outside combat. Use the tap in fights.
