Overview
- Hydro applier
- Burst damage buffer
Mona is a Hydro support built around her Elemental Burst. It traps enemies in a bubble that keeps them Wet and places an Omen on them, which makes them take more damage from everything for a short time. That makes her a natural partner for Freeze teams and for characters who deal one large hit. Her Elemental Skill places a Phantom that taunts enemies and deals small Hydro damage. Her Alternate Sprint lets her move quickly and even across water.
One passive turns part of her Energy Recharge into Hydro damage, so Energy Recharge never feels wasted on her. Focus on her Burst first: Energy Recharge, then crits, then Hydro damage or ATK.

-
Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers ★★★
A 3-star that gives the next character you swap to a large ATK buff. One of the best support weapons for her, especially at high refinement.
-
Prototype Amber ★★★★
Craftable at the Blacksmith. Restores Energy and heals the party after her Burst.
-
Favonius Codex ★★★★
Energy Recharge and particles for the whole team. Needs some CRIT Rate on artifacts to trigger.
-
Skyward Atlas ★★★★★
A 5-star choice when you want her own Burst to hit hard: high base ATK, an ATK stat and an Elemental damage bonus.
Artifact sets
-
Noblesse Oblige 4-piece
The standard support set. Her Burst grants the whole team an ATK buff right before your main damage dealer attacks.
-
Emblem of Severed Fate 4-piece
Use this if you want Mona to deal damage herself. It turns her high Energy Recharge into extra Burst damage.
-
Tenacity of the Millelith 4-piece
Her Phantom triggers the four-piece team ATK bonus. Only worth it if no one else in the team already wears this set.

Teams
-
Ayaka Freeze
Mona keeps enemies Wet so Ayaka can Freeze them, and her Omen raises Ayaka's burst damage. Shenhe and Kazuha add Cryo buffs and group enemies.
-
Ganyu Freeze
Venti pulls enemies into one spot, Mona soaks them, and Ganyu's arrows Freeze the whole group. Diona shields Ganyu while she aims.
-
Budget Freeze
An easy early-game team. Mona and Kaeya Freeze enemies together, Sucrose groups them and shares Elemental Mastery, and Diona protects the party.
Tips
- Use her Burst right before your main damage dealer attacks. The Omen boost is short, so the biggest hit should land on the bubble.
- Her Phantom taunts enemies away from your active character, which can save a fragile damage dealer from getting hit.
- Her sprint is faster than walking, and after a couple of seconds near enemies it leaves a short Phantom behind that adds a little Hydro.
- Do not cut Energy Recharge to fit more damage. Her passive already turns part of it into Hydro damage.
