Dahlia is a 4-star Hydro support whose value is in his Elemental Burst. It grants the party Favonian Favor and a Shield of Sacred Favor that scales with his Max HP. When that shield breaks, he can spend Benison stacks to put up a new one. He earns Benison when your active character lands Normal Attacks, and also when the party triggers Frozen, which makes him a natural fit in Freeze teams. While Favonian Favor is active, his ascension talent also raises your active character's ATK SPD based on his Max HP.

Gear him almost entirely for HP and Energy Recharge. His own damage is small, so stronger shields and a burst that is always ready matter more than crit stats.

Tips

Cast his burst before your damage dealer starts attacking, so the shield and the ATK SPD bonus cover their whole turn.
Active characters who attack with Normal Attacks earn him Benison stacks faster, so he pairs best with Normal Attack users.
His Elemental Skill bounces party members who touch it into the air. Place it near enemies, not under your own character, if you do not want to be launched.
Prioritize Energy Recharge until his burst is ready every rotation, then put everything else into HP.

Normal Attack Performs up to 4 rapid strikes. Charged Attack Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to unleash 2 rapid sword strikes. Plunging Attack Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.

Elemental Skill Immersive Ordinance

Time for a fun little trick! Summons the Sacramental Shower in different ways depending on whether you Tap or Hold it. Tap After a short prayer, summons the Sacramental Shower in front. Hold Engages in continuous prayer, and when done, summons forth a Sacramental Shower in the designated position. Sacramental Shower When opponents or nearby party members touch the Sacramental Shower, different effects will occur depending on the one who touches it: If an opponent touches the Shower, it will explode and deal AoE Hydro DMG to nearby opponents. If a nearby party member touches it, it will bounce the one who touches it high in the air. Only 1 Sacramental Shower summoned by Dahlia himself can be on the field at once.

Elemental Burst Radiant Psalter

Appeals to the divine with earnestness and song, dealing AoE Hydro DMG to nearby opponents and granting his party members Favonian Favor, summoning a Shield of Sacred Favor. The Shield of Sacred Favor's DMG absorption is based on Dahlia's Max HP, and it will absorb Hydro DMG with 250% effectiveness.
