Overview

- Off-field Dendro application
Yaoyao is a healer who also keeps Dendro on enemies. Her Elemental Skill drops Yuegui, a little device that lobs White Jade Radishes: they hit enemies with Dendro while everyone is healthy, and turn to the lowest-HP ally when someone drops to 70% HP or below. Her Elemental Burst makes the radishes heal the whole nearby party, but it ends when she leaves the field, so it is something you use while standing on her.
Her healing scales with Max HP, so build her for HP and enough Energy Recharge to bring the burst back when you need it. She is most at home in Bloom and Hyperbloom teams, where her steady Dendro feeds the reactions and her healing covers the damage Bloom cores do to your own party.
Weapons

-
Dialogues of the Desert Sages ★★★★
Lots of HP, and healing a party member refunds Energy. Yaoyao heals constantly, so the refund almost always triggers on cooldown.
-
Favonius Lance ★★★★
Energy Recharge on the stat line plus particles on a crit. A good pick if her burst is hard to bring back.
-
Black Tassel ★★★
A cheap 3-star with a large HP stat. Its passive only affects slimes, but the HP alone makes her heals bigger.
-
Kitain Cross Spear ★★★★
Elemental Mastery, a small Elemental Skill damage bonus and a net Energy gain after her skill hits. The Mastery only matters for Bloom reactions that her own Dendro triggers.
Artifact sets
-
Deepwood Memories 4-piece
The best team choice when no one else in the party wears it. It lowers enemy Dendro RES for everyone's Dendro hits.
-
Song of Days Past 4-piece
Turns her healing into extra damage for the active character. Pick this when another Dendro character already holds Deepwood.
-
Ocean-Hued Clam + Tenacity of the Millelith 2-piece each
Healing Bonus plus HP. An easy stopgap from pieces you probably already own.

Teams
-
Nilou Bloom
Nilou's Bountiful Cores burst fast and hurt your own team. Yaoyao adds Dendro alongside Nahida and patches up the self-damage.
-
Alhaitham Hyperbloom
Yaoyao supplies extra Dendro so Xingqiu's Hydro turns into Dendro Cores quickly, and Kuki turns them into Hyperbloom.
-
Budget Hyperbloom
All 4-stars. Collei and Yaoyao keep Dendro up, Xingqiu brings Hydro, and Kuki triggers Hyperbloom while healing too.
Tips
- Yuegui only throws radishes at allies when someone is at 70% HP or lower. While everyone is healthy and enemies are nearby, it throws at enemies, so the skill works mostly as an off-field Dendro source.
- Her burst state ends the moment you swap away. Use it when you plan to stay on her for a few seconds, for example to heal everyone up between waves.
- Use her skill on cooldown in reaction teams. Each cast brings out a new Yuegui, which keeps Dendro landing on enemies while you play other characters.
