Overview
- On-field Dendro damage
- Spread and Quickbloom DPS
Alhaitham is a Dendro sword user who stays on the field. His Elemental Skill creates Chisel-Light Mirrors, which turn his attacks into Dendro damage and fire Projection Attacks whenever his Normal, Charged or Plunging Attacks hit. His Elemental Burst consumes the Mirrors for extra hits, then gives some back so he can keep going.
His passive adds damage to Projection Attacks and his burst based on Elemental Mastery, so he wants a mix of Elemental Mastery and crits. He shines with Electro teammates for Spread, and with both Hydro and Electro in Quickbloom teams.
Weapons
Best first. Every sword on this list links to its page.
-
Light of Foliar Incision ★★★★★
His signature. CRIT DMG plus a bonus based on Elemental Mastery for Normal Attacks and the skill, which covers almost all of his damage.
-
Primordial Jade Cutter ★★★★★
CRIT Rate and ATK make it a strong general pick.
-
Mistsplitter Reforged ★★★★★
High CRIT DMG and an Elemental DMG bonus that stacks easily, since all of his attacks are Dendro.
-
Iron Sting ★★★★
Craftable at the Blacksmith. An Elemental Mastery stat and a damage bonus that stays up while he attacks. The best easy-to-get option.
-
A 3-star with high CRIT DMG. Its CRIT Rate bonus only works above 90% HP, so pair it with a shield.
Artifact sets
-
Gilded Dreams 4-piece
Elemental Mastery plus an ATK or Elemental Mastery bonus based on his teammates' elements. The usual first choice.
-
Deepwood Memories 4-piece
Use it when no teammate wears it already. It lowers enemy Dendro RES for the whole team.
-
Gilded Dreams + Wanderer's Troupe 2-piece each
Two Elemental Mastery bonuses. A good stopgap while you farm a 4-piece.

Tips
- Use a Charged or Plunging Attack after your skill to get the extra Mirror from his passive.
- Casting the burst with no Mirrors gives you three new ones afterward, which is a quick way to get back to full.
- The Mirrors vanish when he leaves the field, so spend his field time in one block.
- His passive bonus from Elemental Mastery has a cap, so once you have plenty of Elemental Mastery, put the rest into crits.
