Overview
- Flexible support
- Off-field elemental application
The Traveler can switch between seven elements at any Statue of the Seven, and each element plays a different role. Dendro is the most useful in most accounts: the Lea Lotus Lamp from the burst applies Dendro off the field for a long time, which makes it a free enabler for Hyperbloom, Bloom and Quicken teams. Anemo groups enemies and absorbs elements, Electro feeds Energy to the team through Abundance Amulets, Geo places constructs, Hydro trades HP for damage on a held skill, Pyro works through Nightsoul's Blessing and coordinated attacks, and Cryo turns Superconduct and Cryo Swirl into Stellar reactions.
In most teams the Traveler is a support, so build for the burst first: enough Energy Recharge to cast it every rotation, then the stat that the chosen element's damage or effects scale with. Elemental Mastery for Dendro, ATK and crits for the others.
Weapons
Best first. Every sword on this list links to its page.
-
Freedom-Sworn ★★★★★
A strong 5-star for Dendro and Anemo. The Elemental Mastery helps the Dendro Traveler's passives, and the party buff triggers on reactions.
-
Primordial Jade Cutter ★★★★★
A raw stat stick with CRIT Rate and HP. Good for any element when the Traveler deals personal damage.
-
Favonius Sword ★★★★
Energy Recharge plus extra particles. A good pick for the Electro and Dendro Traveler, who want the burst up and the team charged.
-
Sacrificial Sword ★★★★
Can reset the skill cooldown. Helps the Geo Traveler place more meteorites and the Dendro Traveler cast Razorgrass Blade more often.
-
Iron Sting ★★★★
Craftable at the Blacksmith. Its Elemental Mastery makes it the easy pick for the Dendro Traveler.
-
Skyrider Sword ★★★
A 3-star with Energy Recharge. Fine for an early Electro or Anemo Traveler who just needs the burst ready.
Artifact sets
-
Deepwood Memories 4-piece
For the Dendro Traveler. The lamp keeps enemies' Dendro resistance down for the whole team.
-
Viridescent Venerer 4-piece
For the Anemo Traveler. Swirls lower enemy resistance to the swirled element, helping your main damage dealer.
-
Emblem of Severed Fate 4-piece
For the Electro Traveler and as a safe default for any element that leans on its burst. Energy Recharge and Burst damage.
-
Noblesse Oblige 4-piece
A good fallback for any element when another member already holds the team's elemental set. Each burst gives the party ATK.

For the Anemo Traveler. Swirling the Hydro and Electro spreads Electro-Charged across groups of enemies, and Viridescent Venerer lowers their resistance.
Tips
- Talent levels are stored separately for each element. Level only the elements you actually use.
- For the Dendro Traveler, touch the lamp with Hydro, Electro or Pyro to change it. Hydro widens it, Electro speeds it up, and Pyro makes it explode early.
- For the Anemo Traveler, the burst tornado absorbs one element only per cast, so use it after a teammate has applied the element you want it to pick up.
- For the Electro Traveler, swap to the teammate who needs Energy most right after the skill so they pick up the Abundance Amulets.
