Overview

  • Anemo support
  • ATK-based team buffer
  • Off-field Anemo damage

Prune is a support who swirls elements and turns them into extra hits. When her Elemental Skill triggers a Swirl, it changes into a follow-up kick that hits with the swirled element. Her Elemental Burst sends a bell that follows the active character and keeps dealing Anemo damage, summoning an elemental hammer whenever it swirls an element.

When her converted hammer hits, the rest of the party gains a damage bonus on their attacks, skills and bursts that grows with how much of her ATK is over 2,000. That makes ATK her only real damage stat. Build ATK first and enough Energy Recharge to burst every rotation. She works best next to ATK-scaling damage dealers in teams with an element she can swirl.

Weapons

Best first. Every catalyst on this list links to its page.

  1. Skyward Atlas ★★★★★

High base ATK and an ATK% stat, both of which raise her party buff directly.

  2. Oathsworn Eye ★★★★

A 4-star with ATK% and Energy Recharge after each skill, covering both of her needs.

  3. Favonius Codex ★★★★

Energy Recharge on the main stat keeps her burst ready. Its particle passive needs CRIT hits, so it only helps the team's energy if she has some CRIT Rate.

  4. Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers ★★★

A 3-star with HP as its stat that gives the next character you swap in more ATK. A cheap stand-in until you own one of the options above.

Artifact sets

  1. Viridescent Venerer 4-piece

The default choice. Her swirls lower enemy resistance to the swirled element, which helps almost any team.

  2. Noblesse Oblige 4-piece

Use this when someone else already holds Viridescent Venerer. Her burst gives the party extra ATK.

Teams

  • Varka with Mondstadt supports

Varka is the on-field Anemo damage dealer, and her ATK-based bonus lands on his attacks. Durin and Nicole add Pyro for the bell and hammer to swirl and convert.

  • Lohen Cryo

The same support core with Lohen as the damage dealer. Prune swirls Cryo and Pyro and shreds resistance for both.

  • Budget National

A 4-star team. Prune swirls Pyro and Hydro, Bennett's burst pushes her ATK higher, and her bonus helps Xiangling's burst.

Tips

  • Use her skill on an enemy affected by an element so it swirls. Then press it again in the short window for the elemental kick.
  • Cast her burst before your damage dealer's main attacks. The bell follows whoever is on the field and needs an element to swirl to summon hammers.
  • Her party buff counts only the ATK above 2,000. ATK buffs from teammates help her reach it.
  • She does not need CRIT stats. Put every spare roll into ATK.

Charged Attack Consumes a certain amount of Stamina and performs an upward hammer swing, dealing Anemo DMG to opponents in front. If Prune triggers a Swirl or Stellar Swirl reaction in the opponent with this attack, her Ring-A-Ding-Ding! Hexhunter Chime is changed to Clang Clang! Witch-tribution Comes! for the next 6s. Clang Clang! Witch-tribution Comes! Ensconces the **Banehunter Oathhammer** in the element involved in the earlier Swirl or Stellar Swirl reaction. Elemental Burst The Bell Tolls! The Hunt Is On!

This DMG is considered Elemental Burst DMG.
Passive talent Verdict and Punishment

This DMG is considered Elemental Burst DMG.
Passive talent Tolling Synchronicity
After Prune hits an opponent with the **Banehunter Oathhammer** that has undergone Elemental Conversion, other nearby party members will gain the Tolling Rally effect for 5s: When Normal, Charged, or Plunging Attacks, or Elemental Skills and Bursts deal DMG to opponents, that attack's DMG will be increased based on the portion of Prune's ATK in excess of 2,000 when they become affected by the Tolling Rally effect. Every excess ATK point increases that instance of DMG by 0.025%, up to a total of 50% max.
Passive talent Tinker-Tink, Clank, and Bang!
