Overview

  • On-field Pyro damage

Yoimiya is a bow user who deals her damage with fast Normal Attacks. Her Elemental Skill turns her Normal Attack arrows into Pyro Blazing Arrows with higher damage, and her passive raises her Pyro DMG Bonus while she keeps hitting. Her Elemental Burst marks an enemy with Aurous Blaze, which explodes when other party members hit it, and it gives the rest of the party an ATK boost.

The skill only lasts while she stays on the field, so your rotation is: set up your supports, then swap to her, use her skill and keep shooting. Build her with ATK, crits and Pyro damage, and add Elemental Mastery if your team gives her Hydro to Vaporize with.

Weapons

Best first. Every bow on this list links to its page.

  1. Thundering Pulse ★★★★★

Her best fit. ATK plus a large Normal Attack damage bonus that is easy to keep at full stacks while she is shooting.

  2. Aqua Simulacra ★★★★★

Huge CRIT DMG and a flat damage bonus. Its HP stat does nothing for her, but the rest is very strong.

  3. Rust ★★★★

A 4-star that raises Normal Attack damage by a large amount. She almost never uses Charged Attacks in her rotation, so the downside barely matters.

  4. Hamayumi ★★★★

Craftable at the Blacksmith. High ATK and a Normal Attack bonus, which doubles while her Energy is full.

  5. Slingshot ★★★

A 3-star with CRIT Rate and a bonus to arrows that hit quickly. Fine for a fresh account.

Artifact sets

  1. Shimenawa's Reminiscence 4-piece

ATK from the 2-piece and a large Normal Attack bonus from the 4-piece. The set takes some Energy each time she uses her skill, but that costs her little, since her burst is mainly a team buff.

  2. Echoes of an Offering 4-piece

ATK plus random Normal Attack damage boosts. Close to Shimenawa and does not touch her Energy.

  3. Gladiator's Finale + Crimson Witch of Flames 2-piece each

ATK plus Pyro DMG Bonus. A solid stopgap while you farm a full set.

Teams

  • Yoimiya Vaporize

Yelan's Exquisite Throw attacks about once a second while Yoimiya shoots, keeping enemies wet for Vaporize. Bennett adds ATK and healing, and Yun Jin boosts every Normal Attack she makes.

  • Overloaded with Chevreuse

Chevreuse lowers enemy Pyro and Electro RES once the team triggers Overloaded, and Fischl brings the off-field Electro to make it happen. Yoimiya shoots from range, so Overloaded knocking enemies back hurts her less than it hurts melee carries.

  • Budget Vaporize

All 4-stars. Xingqiu's rain swords follow her attacks to apply Hydro, Bennett buffs ATK and Sucrose shares Elemental Mastery.

Tips

  • Her skill ends as soon as she swaps out. Use your supports' skills and bursts first, then swap to her and stay there for the whole skill duration.
  • Her burst's ATK buff goes to the other party members, not to her, and it grows with the stacks she has. Cast it after a few shots in her skill to give the team a larger buff.
  • Her single-target damage is strong but her arrows do not spread much. Bring teammates with grouping or AoE when fights have many spread-out enemies.

Other character guides recommend Yoimiya as a teammate in these teams.
