Overview
- On-field Anemo damage
- Swirl driver
Heizou is a 4-star Anemo damage dealer who fights up close with Catalyst punches. His Normal Attacks deal Anemo damage, so they swirl any element already on enemies, and each Swirl he triggers on the field gives him a Declension stack for his Elemental Skill. At four stacks the skill gains Conviction and becomes a much larger, stronger hit. When the skill lands, every other party member gains Elemental Mastery, and his burst pulls enemies together and adds damage of the element they carry.
Gear him like any on-field damage dealer: Anemo goblet, crits on the circlet and Viridescent Venerer to shred enemy RES. He fits teams where off-field teammates keep an element on enemies, so his attacks can Swirl it again and again.
Weapons

-
Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds ★★★★★
CRIT Rate and a growing Elemental DMG Bonus. He stays on the field long enough for the stacks to build.
-
Skyward Atlas ★★★★★
An ATK main stat and a bonus to all Elemental DMG. A steady 5-star choice.
-
The Widsith ★★★★
The strongest 4-star for raw damage. Every theme it rolls helps him: more ATK, more Elemental DMG, or more Mastery for Swirl.
-
Solar Pearl ★★★★
His rotation mixes Normal Attacks with skill casts, so both halves of the passive stay active. The CRIT Rate helps balance his crits.
-
High Elemental Mastery for stronger Swirls, and the passive can reset his skill for an extra cast.
Artifact sets
-
Viridescent Venerer 4-piece
The standard choice. It raises Swirl damage and lowers enemy RES to the swirled element, which helps the whole team.
-
Viridescent Venerer + Gladiator's Finale 2-piece each
Anemo damage plus ATK while you farm. Any set with an ATK 2-piece can replace Gladiator's Finale.

Teams
-
Taser
Electro and Hydro sit on enemies together, so his punches keep swirling both. All three teammates work from the bench while he stays on the field.
-
Pyro Swirl
He swirls Xiangling's Pyro to shred its RES with Viridescent Venerer, and his skill hands the team Elemental Mastery for stronger Vaporize.
-
Electro Swirl
Shikanoin Heizou
Fischl
Yae Miko
Kuki Shinobu
Off-field Electro from Fischl and Yae gives him plenty to swirl, and Kuki heals the team between hits.
Tips
- Build Declension stacks with Swirls before releasing the skill. A full-stack Conviction hit is much stronger than a quick tap.
- Swirls only build stacks while he is on the field, so bring teammates that apply elements from the bench.
- His ascension passive gives the other three party members Elemental Mastery whenever his skill hits, so cast it before swapping to a reaction-focused teammate.
