Overview

Ningguang is a 4-star Geo catalyst who fights from range. Each Normal Attack that hits gives her a Star Jade, and her next Charged Attack fires all stored Star Jades along with a large gem. While she holds any Star Jades, her Charged Attack costs no Stamina, so her basic loop is a Normal Attack followed by a Charged Attack, over and over. Her Elemental Skill puts up a Jade Screen that blocks projectiles and gives a Geo damage bonus to anyone who walks through it, and her burst fires a volley of homing gems, with extra gems if the Jade Screen is nearby.

Build her like a standard ATK damage dealer: ATK, Geo damage and crits. She is easy to get and easy to play, which makes her a useful damage dealer for newer accounts and a natural fit for Geo teams.

  • Mono Geo

    Albedo adds off-field Geo damage, Gorou buffs Geo damage, and Zhongli shields her, which also powers up Memory of Dust.

  • Budget Geo

    All 4-stars. Noelle and Gorou add Geo resonance and protection, while Bennett heals and adds ATK.

  • Crystallize

    Three easy-to-get supports. Their elements let her make Crystallize shields, Bennett buffs ATK, and Xingqiu and Beidou add off-field damage.

Tips

  • Weave one Normal Attack before each Charged Attack. That keeps a Star Jade stored, so the Charged Attack costs no Stamina and fires extra projectiles.
  • Cast her burst with the Jade Screen still standing to get the extra gems from the screen.
  • The Jade Screen buffs whoever walks through it, so after swapping, run your next on-field character through it to give them its Geo damage bonus.

Talents

Normal Attack Sparkling Scatter
Normal Attack Shoots gems that deal Geo DMG. Upon hit, this grants Ningguang 1 Star Jade. Charged Attack Consumes a certain amount of stamina to fire off a giant gem that deals Geo DMG. If Ningguang has any Star Jades, unleashing a Charged Attack will cause the Star Jades to be fired at the enemy as well, dealing additional DMG. Plunging Attack Gathering the might of Geo, Ningguang plunges towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all opponents in her path. Deals AoE Geo DMG upon impact with the ground.
Elemental Skill Jade Screen
Ningguang creates a Jade Screen out of gold, obsidian, and her great opulence, dealing AoE Geo DMG. Jade Screen ·Blocks opponents' projectiles. ·Endurance scales based on Ningguang's Max HP. Jade Screen is considered a Geo Construct and can be used to block certain attacks, but cannot be climbed. Only one Jade Screen may exist at any one time.
Elemental Burst Starshatter
Gathering a great number of gems, Ningguang scatters them all at once, sending homing projectiles at her opponents that deal massive Geo DMG. If Starshatter is cast when a Jade Screen is nearby, the Jade Screen will fire additional gem projectiles at the same time.
Passive talent Backup Plan
When Ningguang is in possession of Star Jades, her Charged Attack does not consume Stamina.
Passive talent Strategic Reserve
A character that passes through the Jade Screen will gain a 12% Geo DMG Bonus for 10s.
