Set bonuses
- 2-piece
- When a nearby party member triggers a Nightsoul Burst, the equipping character regenerates 6 Elemental Energy.
- 4-piece
- After the equipping character triggers a reaction related to their Elemental Type, all nearby party members gain a 12% Elemental DMG Bonus for the Elemental Types involved in the elemental reaction for 15s. If the equipping character is in the Nightsoul's Blessing state when triggering this effect, all nearby party members gain an additional 28% Elemental DMG Bonus for the Elemental Types involved in the elemental reaction for 20s. The equipping character can trigger this effect while off-field, and the DMG bonus from Artifact Sets with the same name do not stack.
Overview
Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City is a team support set. The two-piece bonus gives the wearer Energy whenever a party member triggers a Nightsoul Burst. The four-piece bonus is the real reason to use it: after the wearer triggers a reaction involving their own element, the whole party gains Elemental DMG Bonus for the elements in that reaction. If the wearer is in the Nightsoul's Blessing state when this happens, the bonus becomes much larger and lasts longer.
The effect works while the wearer is off the field and does not stack with a second copy of the set, so one wearer per team is enough. It suits supports who apply their element often, ideally from Natlan where Nightsoul's Blessing is part of their kit. It does little on a main damage dealer, who would rather have a set that buffs their own damage.
Best for: Supports who trigger reactions with their own element, especially Nightsoul users, and want to buff the whole team.
