- After using an Elemental Burst, this character will gain the Nascent Light effect, increasing their ATK by 8% for 16s. When the character's HP decreases, their ATK will further increase by 10%. This further increase can occur this way a maximum of 4 times. This effect can be triggered once every 0.8s. Nascent Light will be dispelled when the character leaves the field. If an Elemental Burst is used again during the duration of Nascent Light, the original Nascent Light will be dispelled.
Overview
Vermillion Hereafter is an ATK set for characters who stay on the field after their burst. The two-piece bonus is a plain ATK increase. The four-piece bonus adds more ATK after the wearer uses their Elemental Burst, and that bonus grows further each time their HP goes down, up to four extra times. The effect ends as soon as the wearer leaves the field, and casting the burst again restarts it.
It suits on-field damage dealers whose burst starts their main damage window and who lose HP during it, whether from their own kit or from taking hits. A character who swaps out right after bursting gets almost nothing from the four-piece.
Best for: On-field damage dealers who fight from inside a long burst window and lose HP while doing so.
